Ecofinance, a financial technology company that operates under the consumer brand CreditPrime in Romania, last year registered a 40% increase in its portfolio compared to 2022. The total value of loans granted reached 30 million euros, demonstrating the solid position of the company in the local financial technology market.

Within seven years of starting operations, the company has become a major player in the industry. Last year, the number of registered customers increased by more than 60% compared to 2022. Currently, Ecofinance supports more than 175,000 registered customers, giving them access to affordable and flexible credit lines, helping Romanians to take advantage of additional opportunities and overcome financial challenges.

“The dynamic growth of our results in recent years, especially in 2023, confirms the compliance of our operations with clients’ expectations and the special contribution of the Ecofinance team. The trust granted by our customers strengthens our position as an important player in the dynamic landscape of financial technology, and we will continue to respond to the evolving demands of customers in new and efficient ways”, emphasizes Rucsandra Larisa Stanciu, General Manager and member of the Board of Directors of Ecofinance Romania.

Mobile application and virtual assistant to support Romanian needs

In the fall of 2023, following industry trends and addressing customer needs, Ecofinance launched a mobile application. This was followed by the launch of an Alin virtual assistant, developed together with DRUID, a global leader in artificial intelligence-based virtual assistants. With the implementation of the virtual assistant, the workload of the company’s customer relations specialists was significantly reduced, thus increasing operational efficiency. Customers can contact Alin and ask him questions about the services offered at any time of the day, both on weekdays and on holidays.

“The importance of automated and data-driven solutions in fintech is becoming important for business efficiency and robust customer experience. Recently, the introduction of the mobile app and virtual assistant has shown promising results, significantly improving customer engagement through a more efficient way of accessing funds and optimizing our internal processes. It is not only crucial to be aligned with the technological advancement trends of the industry, but also to evaluate our services through the lens of our customers, maintaining customization as a fundamental value”, informs Rucsandra Larisa Stanciu.

It further emphasizes that this year the company’s commitment to integrate various automated solutions into services will remain a priority. However, it is essential to emphasize that our business model is based on providing personalized, human-centric and secure experiences, where the presence of a professional customer relations consultant is vital.

Looking ahead, Ecofinance also aims to focus on strengthening positions in existing markets and work on new projects for future market expansion.
