Detained by the police after violating the protection order

On the 22nd of April this year, the criminal investigation officers from Section 2 of the Pitesti Police continued their investigations into a file

criminal under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Pitești Courtregarding the commission of crimes of ,,the violation by a person against whom a protection order has been issued of any of the measures ordered by the protection order” (two material documents) and ,,threat“, and they found and detained a 38-year-old man.

From the investigations, it was established that during August 2023, as well as on April 7 of this year, the man in question, 38 years old, from Poiana Lacului, would have violated the measures established by protection orders, issued by the competent court, against his ex-concubine, approaching at a distance of less than 100 meters, contacting the person in question by phone and communicating with him, and on April 7 he allegedly also addressed him with threats of a nature to create a state of fear .

On April 22, with the support of the Poiana Lacului Rural Police Department, the man was found and taken to the police headquarters based on an arrest warrant issued in the case.

After the administration of probation, the man was detained for 24 hoursbased on ordinancefollowing that today, April 23, it will be presented to the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Pitesti Court with a proposal to take a preventive measure.
