After the final passage of the $61 billion military assistance law for Ukraine, the first batch of this assistance, thanks to logistics already in place, will be sent in a few days, Pentagon spokesman Brigadier General Patrick said on Tuesday Ryder, during a briefing, broadcasts the BBC.

“Thanks to organizations like the Ukraine Security Assistance Group, as well as our joint efforts with allies and partners, we have created a very strong logistics network that ensures the delivery of aid to Ukraine,” General Ryder was quoted as saying by the Ukrinform news agency.

Therefore, as the Pentagon press secretary assured, the military cargo will be sent in the coming days, immediately after President Biden signs into law the aid package for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.

On Tuesday, Reuters and US media reported, citing sources in Washington, that the first batch of aid to Ukraine will cost $1 billion and is being prepared in advance so that it can be transferred to Ukraine’s borders in less than a week.
