An 18-year-old man from Teleorman was detained and then remanded in custody for rape and domestic violence. He went to the house of a woman he knew by sight and, under the pretext of asking her for a cigarette, he entered the house and raped her, he writes News.ro.
The incident took place on Saturday, April 20, the victim filed a complaint on Sunday, and the young man was detained on Monday.
“On April 21, the police were notified directly by a 67-year-old woman from Pleşoiu commune, Olt county, about the fact that, on April 20, while she was in her home on the edge of Smârdioasa, would have been the victim of the crime of rape. The investigations carried out by the police highlighted the fact that the young man allegedly committed sexual acts on the 67-year-old woman, through coercion. Also, at the request of the victim, the young man refused to leave the building”, informed the Teleorman County Police on Tuesday.
According to judicial sources, the young man knew the woman, they had seen each other several times, but they did not communicate. He went to her gate under the pretext of asking her for a cigarette, entered the house over her and raped her.
The aggressor was remanded in custody for 30 days.
