The match between the two great powers of the last decade of Romanian men’s basketball no longer has any stake from the point of view of the ranking. U BT Cluj-Napoca and CSM Oradea will remain on top of the standings at the end of the regular season, regardless of the result of this game.
However, any meeting between the two rivals is primarily a big clash of egos. U BT Cluj-Napoca has not known defeat during the entire regular season and wants to remain unbeaten even after today’s match. On the other hand, CSM CSU Oradea is going through an unconvincing period. I believe that this meeting will be a useful experience, which we really need in the perspective of the play off.
