The desired celebration in the “Constantin Jude” hall by Robert Lupu’s students gradually turned into a nightmare today. CFR Timisoarathe host of the Final 4 tournament of the Romanian Futsal Cup, was clearly surpassed by the more experienced rival CSM Devawith a severe 0-5 (0-2) to the delight of the guest gallery.

There were bad signs for the railwaymen since yesterday, after they passed with some difficulty the more modest Mausoleum Mărăşeşti, while the young ones had also clearly overcome Sepsi (4-1).

Deva quickly opened the scoring through Savio and they took advantage of the errors in a few lines, which at least at the beginning can also be seen on some Trac. In a room fuller than ever for CFR in futsal, the visitors took the score to 2-0 in the 15th minute through another former Timișoara player – Cristian Matei. Moreover, CSM Deva could send an entire team to the field that in the past could be host on the floor of the “Constantin Jude” hall, either at Informatica or at CFR. At the end of the half, the hosts did not even take advantage of the chance to execute a penalty kick for fouls, although CSM was in danger of such a mistake.

Roger Augusto’s team continued to be more accurate after the break. Also an ex-Timisorian was the next scorer – Natai (min. 26). For the same Matei to score another double, the last success coming in the last seconds, in the goal left open by the people of Banat to score at least the honor goal.

The fans were able to enjoy themselves almost at home, in addition to a large gallery, there were also enough Hunedorians throughout the rest of the stand.

CFR Timisoara: Theodor Lungu – Valentin Ilaș, Gabriel de Souza, Gustavo da Silva, Mihnea Toader; Vlad Iancu, Robert Lupu, Wellington da Silva, Denis Dan, Daniel Samanț, George David, Daniel Gurin, Emanuel Patrascu, Andrei Nemițanu.

CSM Deva: Roberto Voin – Denis Ramić, Savio, Camara Sobral, Darius Nastai; Andrei Dinicuta, Fernando Dobre, Ioan Grosu, Miloš Simić, Cristian Matei, Florin Matei, Denis Boldor, Sergiu Gavrila. Coach: Roger Augusto.

The two western rivals meet again at the resumption of the championship, around April 21, when the meeting in the 4th round of the play-off is scheduled at the foot of the Citadel. Timișoara have a fragile lead of one point in the elite, being 2nd.
