The Ministry of Education published today, April 2, 2024, the item-by-item analysis (for each subject separately) of the results obtained by high school students in the 2024 Baccalaureate exam simulation. they will have more requirements than those that the high school students were able to answer in the simulation. “The CNPEE working group (made up of specialist teachers) has identified elements capable of optimizing the design of exam subject variants, so that the share of satisfactorily/well/very well performed items (successful items) increases in the economy of the test” , announces the institution led by Ligia Deca.

In the 2024 Baccalaureate simulation, almost 40% of the 12th grade students did not get a 5 in Romanian Language, and 35% did not get more than a 5 in mathematics or history, according to the first results announced by the Ministry. Today, the institution announces the detailed results in Mathematics as well, and they show that the weight of grades greater than or equal to 5 is 83.44%.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the Ministry states that “following the simulation organized by the Ministry of Education (March 4-7), the National Center for Policies and Evaluation in Education (CNPEE) carried out a detailed analysis of the recorded results at the national level by correlation with the specifics of each item. According to CNPEE, following this type of analytical approach of the results recorded by the students who took the simulation tests, the CNPEE working group (made up of specialized teachers) identified elements able to optimize the design of exam subject variants, so that the share of satisfactorily/well/very well performed items (successful items) increases in the economy of the test and, at the same time, made suggestions for remedial activities that the students could go through.”
