On March 29, at around 10:10 a.m., the police officers from the Târgu-Neamț City Police were alerted to the occurrence of a road event, on DN 15C, in the town of Bălțatești.
“Following the checks carried out by the police, it emerged that, while a 27-year-old woman from Târgu-Neamț was driving a vehicle on DN 15C, from the direction of Piatra-Neamț towards Târgu-Neamț, she allegedly the maneuver to change the direction of travel, colliding with a car driven by a 20-year-old man from Drăgăneşti, who allegedly performed the overtaking maneuver.
As a result of the road accident, the 27-year-old driver and a 7-year-old passenger in the same car were injured.
In the case, the police are continuing the investigations under the aspect of the commission of the crime of culpable bodily harm,” declared Insp. Ciofu Ramona.
According to the police, the 20-year-old was not under the influence of alcoholic beverages at the time of the accident. The young woman, however, could not be tested because of the injuries she suffered, later her biological samples were collected.
