ADI ISO Mediu Braşov organized a meeting of sanitation operators with representatives of the county administration

Representatives of the sanitation operators and the Brasov County Council met on Thursday, March 28, at the headquarters of the Intercommunity Development Association “ISO Mediu” (ADI ISO Mediu) Brasov, at a technical meeting on waste management in Brasov county.
This meeting was called by the president of ADI ISO Mediu Braşov, Liviu Butnariu, who specified that he made the decision to bring the operators and those of the county administration to the same table in the context in which the Braşov County Council is currently working on the System of Integrated Waste Management.
“We organized a meeting with the operators who collect household waste, in order to obtain all the real data regarding the beneficiaries of the sanitation service and the quantities generated by the population. Also, considering that there are different methods of collection, I requested a situation regarding the beneficiaries from the blocks and those who live in the houses. Last but not least, we asked the operators to present the problems they have or expect in the collection activity, so that they can find their solution in the Integrated Waste Management System”declared the president of ADI ISO Mediu, Liviu Butnariu.
The Integrated Waste Management System project is implemented by the Braşov County Council, with the support of the Intercommunity Development Association “ISO Mediu” Braşov, which includes all the town halls in our county.
The total value of the Integrated Waste Management System is estimated at 792,526,684 lei, and in order to make the investments, the Brasov county administration wants to obtain non-refundable funding through the Sustainable Development Program (PDD) 2021-2027 in the amount of 788,087,570 lei ( amount including VAT). The project implementation period is estimated at 28 months.
