The Ion Besoiu Cultural Center will host on May 9, Europe Day, the concert of tenors Alin Stoica, Vlad Mirita and Ştefan von Korch, reunited under the formula “Three Magnificent Voices”.
Alin Stoica is the only Romanian tenor who, at the end of last year, sang in the Christmas concert at the Vatican and was the Pope’s guest in a private meeting. The soloist is also the only Romanian holder of the Luciano Pavarotti award. On the stage of the National Opera in Bucharest, he stands out in “La Traviata”, “Carmen” or “La Bhoeme.”
Tenors Alin Stoica, Vlad Mirita and Ştefan von Korch are prominent names in the Romanian lyric universe. The famous canzones “O Sole Mio”, “Granada” or “Valencia”, but also the most applauded arias from “Rigoletto”, “Traviata”, “The Barber of Seville” or “The Elixir of Love” are some of the surprises in the program of the center.
Alongside the three soloists will be the Valahia Symphony Orchestra, which will accompany Placido Domingo in the concerts in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.
“I invite you to these concerts, which are like a musical spring: if “La Donna e Mobile”, “Santa Lucia”, or “Nesun Dorma” awaken emotion, nostalgia or joy, you will feel them all, intensified by the incomparable flavor of live performance”, says tenor Ştefan von Korch.
Tickets have already gone on sale online and cost between 140 and 205 lei.
