Shocking case in Bihor. A man from the town of Budoi was detained and is to be presented at the Marghita Court, with a proposal for preventive arrest, for killing three dogs, according to eBihoreanul. A neighbor of his is also being investigated for instigation, after she paid him to kill her dogs as well.

The act took place on Tuesday, and the first dog killed was that of a neighbor, which entered his yard and which, the man says, would have bitten a pig. The man hit him with a shovel and then hung him from a tree in the garden.

A neighbor, who saw the man’s deed, offered him money to kill her dogs as well. The individual accepted and killed two more dogs, also by hanging.

The case was reported to the Office for Animal Protection on Wednesday morning, and soon both the 55-year-old man and the woman were brought up for questioning, the first for killing animals with intent, without the right, and the woman for instigation.
