Happy birthday, Romanian Police! Open doors at the Brasov Police

After, on Thursday, they organized the Shooting Press Cup for journalists, on Friday the Brasov policemen opened their doors wide for Brasov students who wanted to see the equipment of the National Police. “We invited children from Brasov county, children whom we want to delight with the technique that our colleagues from different structures have, from the Criminal Police, the Service for Special Actions, the Traffic Police, where we all know that the traffic lights and the siren from the special police car they delight the little ones. We want to show them another side of the Police, as we are used to, by the way, every year, on the occasion of the Romanian Police Day, on March 25”, said the spokesperson of the Braşov County Police, Chief Constable Daniel Zontea .
The little ones went to the vehicles, fascinated by the sirens and the equipment on board, while the high school girls were curious to see the masked ones, and their classmates were attracted by the weapons and the forensics kits.
“For now we were given a model of a pistol and we were also given the real pistol, but I didn’t hold it in my hand, I said I would keep it for the next visits. The work of the police seems hard and complicated to me because they face different actions and different events every day”, said one of the students who came to visit the headquarters of IPJ Braşov.
“The weapons are very cool! I didn’t expect them to be so heavy, but they are extremely heavy and very easy to handle. In the range maybe I would like to shoot, but in people I don’t think I would like it,” said another girl.
“So far I have seen weapons, the forensics part, including fingerprints and a file, evidence. I wanted to be able to touch such weapons and see the forensic objects. Out of all, I think I liked this forensics file the most and I will want to look over it and solve the case”, said a teenager.
March 25 is Romanian Police Day. On this occasion, the Brasov police are organizing a series of events, including the Press Cup and the Open Day.
