On Monday, January 9, Romanians will be able to watch on small screens the first episode of the Survivor Romania 2023 competition, filmed in the Dominican Republic. DOC, Gheboasă, Maria Constantin, Ionuț Iftimoaie, Sebastian Dobrincu, Remus Boroiu, Jorge, Ștefania Stănilă, Bianca Patrichi, Ada Dumitru, Carmen Grebenișan and Vica Blochina are the contestants who promise to fight for the grand prize awarded by PRO TV in this edition.

His real name is Vlad Munteanu and he is 43 years old. He is married, since 2019, to Anca Cristina, with whom he also has a little girl. The artist has been active in the music industry for over two decades, but he is no stranger to the sports world. He even practiced sports all his life, even playing professional basketball.

Now, DOC wants to prove to the Romanians what he is capable of, considering that his physical abilities will help him cope brilliantly with the challenges of the Dominican jungle. The star confessed that he did not set certain expectations. From a physical point of view, the artist says he will have no problems. Mentally, however, things might be sensitive.
“People who know me know that I take challenges like this very seriously. There was no way I was going to miss this. I’ve been doing sports all my life, I’ve done a lot… Physically, I don’t think I’m going to have any problems. But mentally… you don’t even know, you’ve never been put in such a situation.
I don’t know what will come out of it. I’m willing to be what I’m going to be. I understand that Survivor is what we call a communist regime. I mean we all eat… nothing”, said DOC, in an intervention on PRO TV.
DOC became noticed, for the first time, in 1999, when he founded the band CTC, which also included Deliric and Vlad Dobrescu. Also during the mentioned period, the artist also launched the first hip-hop music label: Facem Records.
He released his first solo album 13 years ago – “Out of control”. Over time, he collaborated with several artists from the country, including Deliric, Vlad Dobrescu, Maximilian, Guess Who, Cabron, Smiley.
