She is the first of the three children of mother Georgiana Cristina and sensei Nukina Nobuyuki, baptized orthodox at the Radu Vodă Monastery in the Capital. Sensei Nukina was a three-time national champion of Japan in karate and met his wife 26 years ago. After the marriage they decided to live in Romania.
