HBO Max has scheduled, right from the beginning of April, 27 films. From May 21, HBO Max will become Max, and each subscriber will have twice as much content to watch, as well as live sports.

“The Synanon Fix” will be on HBO Max on April 2. The documentary explores the rise and fall of the Synanon organization through the eyes of the members who lived it, from its beginnings as a revolutionary drug rehabilitation program to its subsequent decay into what many consider to be a cult.

Starting from April 1, we will learn about “Quiet on set – The Dark Side of Kids TV” on HBO Max. A documentary that is already going around the world and captivates with the untold story of the toxic world behind the most famous children’s TV shows of the 1990s and 2000s. The documentary has 5 episodes, and the first 2 are already available on HBO Max.

The list of documentaries continues with “Brandy Hellville: The Cult of Fast Fashion”, “An American Bombing: The Road to April” and “The Jinx Part 2”.

In April, the films: “Culorea Purpurie” (“The Color Purple”), “Mamma Mia! Let’s do it all over again” (“Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again”), “Mamma Mia!”, “Defecte” (“Shortcomings”), “When Harry Met Sally” (“When Harry Met Sally” ), “Oblivion. Forgotten planet” (“Oblivion”), “Goldman Case” (“The Goldman Case”).

On April 12, “The Color Purple” offers a fresh take on the classic film. It is directed by Blitz Bazawule and produced by Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Scott Sanders and Quincy Jones. The film was released in cinemas in 2023, won 27 awards and had over 100 nominations.

10 years after the premiere of the movie “Mamma Mia!”, “Mamma Mia! “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” will be on HBO Max from April 26.

From April 15, “The Sympathizer” will be on HBO Max. The series follows a half-French, half-Vietnamese communist spy in the final days of the Vietnam War and his subsequent exile in the US
