Six children and an adult were injured, Thursday, in a bombardment by the Russian army in the city of Dergaci in the Kharkiv region, in the north-east of Ukraine, the regional governor announced.
“Seven people were injured, including six children, as a result of an enemy attack with guided aerial bombs on the city of Dergaci”, Governor Oleg Sinegubov wrote on Telegram.
“Two of the injured children have slight injuries to their limbs, and the other four are in a moderate condition. They were all hospitalized,” added the governor, specifying that a 75-year-old man received care on the spot, without being hospitalized.
The Kharkiv region, bordering Russia and part of which was occupied by the Russian army at the beginning of the invasion, before a first Ukrainian counteroffensive in the fall of 2022, remains under almost constant fire. In recent months, Russia has used new and powerful aerial guided bombs, with devastating consequences.
On Wednesday, two civilians who were in a car were killed by a bomb of this type launched by Russian forces in the Kharkiv region.
