A fasting food favors the appearance of cancer

A fasting food, considered carcinogenic, remains a constant presence on Romanians’ tables, despite the warnings of specialists who point out that it is a nutritional scam. Dr. Mihaela Bilic draws attention to this food, presented as healthy, but which can have disastrous effects on the body.

A fasting food favors the appearance of cancer. It is considered a nutritional scam

The renowned Romanian nutritionist refers to a French doctor, member of the Paris Academy of Medicine.

“Soy milk is a nutritional scam – the statement does not belong to me, although I admit that it warms my soul and I couldn’t have said it better,” writes Mihaela Bilic on Facebook.

The doctor points out that this is a statement by Dr. Jean Marie Bourre, a member of the Paris Academy of Medicine, made on the occasion of the “Red October” colloquium dedicated to breast cancer:

“Soy milk is nothing more than white juice, a nutritional scam full of phytoestrogens similar to estradiol (female sex hormone), which are hormone disruptors that favor the development of hormone-dependent cancers.”

On the same occasion, Dr. Mary Enig, president of the Maryland Association of Nutritionists says: “a baby fed soy milk receives the phytoestrogen equivalent of 5 birth control pills a day. It can cause precocious puberty in girls and delayed sexual development in boys.”

This fasting food was also brought to the attention of the authorities in France, Switzerland and England

The French Food Safety Agency has drawn attention to the consumption of soy since 2000. The US authorities (Food and Drug Administration – known as the FDA) have never agreed to classify soy as safe (GRAS – Generally Recognized As safe).

“Excess phytosterols can prevent ovulation, promote the appearance of cancer cells and cause hypothyroidism, with all its associated symptoms: lethargy, constipation, weight gain, fatigue. It is not by chance that Buddhist monks consume tofu, the effect of this so-called soy cheese is the dramatic reduction of libido,” Dr. Bilic said.

The Romanian nutritionist also adds that the Swiss authorities recommend the limited use of soy products in baby food. In England, the public health agency requires parents to get a medical opinion before allowing soy to be fed to children.

“Soy products should only be used under medical supervision. Practitioners treating children with soy products for medical reasons should be aware of the potential for interactions between soy products for children and thyroid gland function,” says the New Zealand Ministry of Health.

What are the effects of consuming soy products?

In addition to the risks associated with phytoestrogens, excessive consumption of soy may also be associated with other negative health effects:

  • Digestive problems: Some people may experience gastrointestinal discomfort, such as bloating, flatulence, and nausea, due to excessive soy consumption. These symptoms may be more pronounced when consuming unprocessed or fermented soy products.
  • Interference with nutrient absorption: Soy contains compounds known as trypsin inhibitors and phytates, which can interfere with the absorption of essential nutrients such as iron and zinc. Excessive soy consumption can contribute to nutritional deficiencies over time.
  • -Allergenic potential: Soy is among the top eight food allergens and can trigger allergic reactions in some people. Excessive consumption of soy may increase the risk of food allergies or worsen symptoms in those who are already allergic to soy.
  • Contains antinutrients: Soy contains substances known as antinutrients, such as lectins and saponins, which can interfere with nutrient absorption and irritate the gut. Excessive consumption of soy can amplify these effects and affect gut health.
  • Potential Hormonal Impact in Men: There are studies indicating that phytoestrogens in soy may negatively affect male reproductive health and testosterone levels. Excessive consumption of soy could contribute to decreased fertility or other hormonal disorders in men.
