Firefighters and emergency services intervened on the scene, who rescued the victims and secured the area. Later, the president of the district, Elena Gaggioli, also went, according to fanpage.it.

Following the explosion, at least four people were injured, one of whom is in critical condition, being transported to the hospital by ambulance. It is about the driver who had just refueled, a 46-year-old man.

The explosion caused significant damage to cars in the area and to the gas station’s facilities.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
