Dorin Florin Luca, the Oradean who, being drugged at the wheel of a Porsche, caused a road accident in Magheru Passage, was arrested for 30 days.

The measure was ordered on Monday, at noon, by the judge of rights and freedoms from the Oradea Court, at the request of the prosecutors, and according to the information on the court portal, Luca requested during the debates to be placed under house arrest or under judicial control, both requests being rejected.

The court ruling issued on Monday is not final. It can also be contested at the Bihor Court within 48 hours of the pronouncement.

Dorin Florin Luca was detained, on Sunday evening, by the traffic police. The 31-year-old man had presented himself a few hours earlier at the headquarters of the Bihor Road Service, to surrender after, on Saturday evening, he caused a road accident in Pasajul Magheru in Oradea. At the wheel of a Porsche Carrera, Luca drove at speed in the passage, and his car hit a Ford that was driving normally. When the police arrived at the scene of the accident, they found only two men who got out of the Porsche, both under the influence of alcoholic beverages and both passengers. The driver had disappeared.

Following the accident, four people arrived at the hospital with various injuries, but only one remained hospitalized.

After surrendering, Dorin Florin Luca was taken for analysis, and according to a press release sent on Sunday evening by the Bihor Police Press Office, the man tested negative for alcohol, but the toxicological analysis revealed that he had consumed narcotics. Judicial sources said BIHOREAN that the man from Oradea was under the influence of cocaine when he caused the accident.
