The database with reference prices, created and managed by the Agency for the Financing of Rural Investments, is available to beneficiaries of European funds for agriculture and rural development including during the implementation of the Strategic Plan 2023 – 2027 (PS 2027). Thus, farmers and entrepreneurs from the rural environment who request financing through AFIR can use the Database to make purchases related to the investments financed in the ongoing sessions or those to be launched in the next period, according to a press release sent to the Editor.

The database is constantly updated and supplemented with new elements, so at the moment it includes reference prices for more than 45,700 machines, machines, specialized equipment, silos, greenhouses, sheds, stables and furniture that can be purchased through projects financed with non-reimbursable European funds. Of these, more than 10,000 items are land preparation equipment (ploughs, disc harrows, combines, scarifiers, etc.), over 2,000 trailers, over 1,000 machines or herbicide equipment, over 1,000 seed drills, over 870 tractors (from over 30 of different brands, with powers from 20 HP to over 650 HP), over 650 irrigation equipment, over 500 loaders, over 200 combines (including combines for harvesting potatoes, cabbage, nuts, beans, fodder, etc.). The database also contains other types of equipment: for animal stables (over 1,000), excavators (88) and their accessories (over 700), silos (over 250), slaughterhouses (over 100), greenhouses (over 100).

Given the recent increased interest in photovoltaic systems, there are now more than 800 items in this category online in the AFIR Database. And for agricultural drones, the offer has diversified – about 50 models are displayed online.

In the AFIR Database there is also specialized equipment for winemaking, the food industry, professional equipment for HORECA, equipment from the category of bodied cars for specialized transport (refrigerator, bakery, veterinary ambulances, etc.), equipment for car services, medical offices, tailors, beauty salons, furniture, etc.

“We remind you that, starting from 2023, in accordance with the new commitments assumed for the implementation of the Strategic Plan, AFIR accepts the inclusion in the BDPR only of the elements that have a pollution norm of at least Stage V, the environmental norms being established in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016 / 1628.

The database with reference prices is a unique work tool at the national level, through which AFIR concretely facilitates and simplifies the access of farmers and entrepreneurs to the European funds granted for investments in agriculture and for the development of the rural environment. The simplification achieved by AFIR consists in the fact that through this Database the beneficiaries are allowed to purchase the product they want, directly without going through the procurement procedure, according to the procedural provisions in force. This way of working considerably reduces the time of purchase and gives the farmer the opportunity to choose exactly the equipment he needs to make the investment more efficient”, the press release states.

The method of updating and completing the AFIR Database is carried out in accordance with the updated version of the Reference Price Database Guide, available on the AFIR website.
