Romania’s National Independence Day, Victory in Europe Day and European Union Day will be marked by a military and religious ceremony in Union Square.
A military and religious ceremony is taking place today, in Union Square, on the occasion of Victory in Europe Day (May 8), Europe Day/European Union Day (May 9) and Romania’s National Independence Day (May 10).
The Institution of the Prefect of Brașov County and the Brașov Garrison organizes on Friday, May 10, 2024, a military and religious ceremony on the occasion of the celebration of Victory in Europe Day (May 8), Europe Day/European Union Day (May 9) and Romania’s National Independence Day (May 10 ).
The ceremony will take place in Piața Unirii in the municipality of Brașov, starting at 10:00 a.m., announces the Brașov Prefecture.
The event will be attended by the prefect of Brașov county, the president of the County Council, the mayor of Brașov, commanders of large units and units from the Brașov Garrison, war veterans, military personnel in reserve and retirement, descendants of army personnel who died in military actions, the public.
Wreaths and flowers will be laid, and at the end of the ceremony, the military detachment will parade.
