The crews of the Tulcea Emergency Situations Inspectorate intervene in an accident that happened at the exit from the Tulcea municipality towards the Agighiol locality.
According to the first information, a minibus and an all-terrain vehicle were involved in the road accident.
So far, seven people are receiving medical attention and will be transported to the hospital: the drivers of the SUV and the minibus, plus five passengers in the minibus. The people injured in the accident are conscious and have suffered various traumas.
UPDATE. According to ISU Tulcea, this afternoon (9.05.2024 – No.), in the dispatch center of the Delta Emergency Situations Inspectorate of Tulcea County, a call was received to the single emergency number 112 announcing a road accident between a minibus and a car, with several people involved.
Several medical crews from the Tulcea County Ambulance Service were sent to the scene, and from the Tulcea Fire Department an extrication crew, a firefighting crew and a SMURD first aid crew.
The rescue teams arrived at the scene of the event and found several victims from the minibus who self-evacuated, the 65-year-old driver of the minibus, who was incarcerated and for whom he was released and extracted from the vehicle, and from the passenger car, a 70-year-old woman, driver, was taken over by the medical crews of SAJ Tulcea.
Nine people were involved in the road accident, seven of whom were injured. The latter were transported to the Emergency Reception Unit, for evaluation and specialized medical care.
UPDATE. According to the Tulcea County Police Inspectorate, on May 9, 2024, around 4:50 p.m., the police officers from the Road Bureau were alerted to a road incident on DJ 222.
The police arrived at the scene and found that a 70-year-old woman allegedly drove a car from the direction of Agighiol towards the municipality of Tulcea, lost control of the car and entered the opposite direction of traffic, colliding with a minibus.
As a result of the road accident, both drivers and five other people, passengers of the minibus, were injured.
In the case, a criminal file was drawn up under the aspect of committing the crime of culpable bodily harm.
