Gardai issue urgent appeal for black car potentially linked to Navan burglary

Gardaí have appealed to the public to keep on the lookout for a black car that could potentially be connected to a burglary that was reported in Navan.

At around 1:15 pm today, gardaí attached to the Meath Garda Division issued the appeal saying that a black car, which is potentially an Audi A3, was spotted in Johnstown, Navan in the past hour.

Although no further details were given regarding the vehicle, gardaí did confirm that three men were spotted on board the vehicle.

The car, it is alleged, could be connected to a house burglary that occurred in Hayestown, Navan.

Gardaí in Meath have asked for anyone who may have spotted the vehicle to make immediate contact with the authorities.

A spokesperson for gardaí said: “Keep a look out for a black car, possibly an Audi A3, with three men on board, seen in Johnstown, Navan in the past hour and possibly connected to a house burglary which has just been reported in Hayestown , Navan. Any sightings please call Gardaí on 999 or 112.”
