The accident in which Miruna Cojocariu lost her life allegedly took place on the night of May 4 to 5, around 03:30 local time, on the road that connects the town of Liencres to Somocuevas beach. A Fiat 500 car in which were a man and a woman, both of Romanian nationality, left the road and collided with an electricity pole and a wall, and then caught fire. Miruna’s charred body was found inside the vehicle, writes antena3.ro.

Miruna Cojocariu lost her life at only 25 years old

Following the tragic accident, Miruna Cojocariu did not survive. The driver of the car was seriously injured and was urgently transported to the hospital in Valdecilla to receive medical care.

The people who saw the accident told the Spanish press that the flames that engulfed the car in which the two Romanians were were at least 10 meters high.

According to ziaruldevrancea.ro, the young woman who died in the tragic accident was the only child of a family from Vidra, Vrancea. Her father is a veterinary assistant and her mother is an educator.

A 23-year-old young man, whose full name was Costantin Romeo Ionuț Antonie, died of suffocation in a container in Italy on Easter.

Ionuț lost his life while trying to take some clothes from a bin used for collecting used clothes in the Canonica d’Adda ecological area. He got in there after jumping the fence.

“On Sunday we all celebrated Easter in the garden. It was a day of celebration and fun. Then, in the evening, I don’t know what came into his mind. He was only 23 years old and had a whole life ahead of him: he dreamed of having a house his and instead died in an absurd way”., said his brother-in-law, Gabriel Bârzava.
