A road accident took place on Tuesday on Aurel Vlaicu Street in Cluj-Napoca.
A man was hit head-on by a car after driving through an unauthorized area.
“It was about an injured pedestrian. He had a head injury, being conscious and cooperative. He was later transported to the hospital. The request came at 21:32. An approximately 30-year-old man was involved”, ISU Cluj representatives told monitorulcj.ro.
“Road accident occurred on May 7, around 9:30 p.m., on Aurel Vlaicu street in Cluj-Napoca. From the preliminary investigations, it was found that a man who, as a pedestrian, would have engaged in crossing the street through an unmarked and unmarked pedestrian crossing, was injured by a car driven in the direction of Traian Vuia Street, by a 29-year-old man years, from Maramureș county.
The driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result was negative. The pedestrian could not be tested on the spot, being taken over by a medical crew. Investigations are being carried out to establish his identity”, IPJ Cluj reported.
