Google has announced the Pixel 8a. Find out the price and availability in Romania.

Well, my dears, Google has just released the Pixel 8a, a phone that not only looks good on paper, but also promises performance that will make you say “Wow!”. Let’s see what new this gadget brings us.

display – a beauty of 6.1 inch OLED, with a spread of colors that caress your retina. With a frequency of 120 Hz, it’s like looking through an open window into the future. And when it comes to brightness, the guys at Google didn’t skimp: 1400 nitswhich can jump up to 2000 for HDR. The resolution? 2400×1080 pixels – crystal clear, friends!

Under the hood – we find the engine, Tensor G3, inherited from last year’s older siblings. And because safety comes first, we also have the chip Titanium M2. In terms of memory, the Pixel 8a comes with 8 GB LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 128 or 256 GB (UFS 3.1).

Software – Run on Android 14and Google promised us 7 years of software support. I’m not kidding, 7 years! That means major updates and security patches, a rarity in this price category.

Pixel 8a price and availability in Romania

In the US, the Pixel 8a starts at 499 dollarsand in the EU from 549 euros. In Romania, it is rumored that it could reach 2900 lei. With specs that place it above the average for its category, the Pixel 8a promises to be a hit.

And by the way, it seems that the Pixel 8a will be the first of the Pixel series to be officially launched in Romania. Exact price? It remains to be seen, but I’m sure it will pleasantly surprise us.
