Libra Internet Bank introduces, for the first time in Romania, the generative artificial intelligence service in the mobile banking application, through which it provides information in audio and text format about the customer’s accounts and transactions, deposits and credits, as well as other analyzes and information about products and services from the bank’s offer.

Generative artificial intelligence has the ability to understand a person’s requests, including when they are expressed in ordinary language, and behaves like a human interlocutor, adapting its answers according to the context and the style of the conversation.

“Libra Internet Bank has always been one of the most innovative banks in Romania, and now the time has come to introduce generative artificial intelligence into our technologies. Libra customers are the first in Romania and among the few in Europe to benefit from this type of service in the mobile banking application”, said Cristina Mahika-Voiconi, General Manager of Libra Internet Bank.

The generative artificial intelligence service has the ability to perform syntheses such as, for example, payments made to a specific merchant, receipts from a selected time interval or personalized characterizations of the customer’s consumption behavior, based on transaction history.

“Libra Voice” is available, in the test version, for all individual customers, account holders and can be found in the Libra Mobile Banking application.
