A 54-year-old woman died with head and arm injuries after being assaulted by her own husband. She notified the police, and the man was detained by the law enforcement officers, who filed a criminal case against him and a provisional protection order.
According to IPJ Alba, on May 6, 2024, around 7:00 p.m., following a 112 call, in which a woman reported that she had been assaulted by her husband, the police from Cugir intervened at a home in Vinerea.
From the first investigations, it emerged that, amid the consumption of alcoholic beverages, a 66-year-old man assaulted his 54-year-old wife, causing injuries to her head and an arm.
Against the man, a criminal case was drawn up for the crime of domestic violence and he was detained for 24 hours.
At the same time, a provisional protection order was issued in his name, for a period of 5 days.
The researches are continued, to establish all the circumstances in which this incident occurred.
