Students return to school on Wednesday after the Easter break, according to the calendar approved by the Ministry of Education. Even so, many of them are already thinking about the next vacation, which is not very far away. That’s because starting Friday, June 21, children will enter the longest and most loved vacation of all – the summer one.
However, there are also some exceptions, and here we are talking about the 12th day, 13th evening and reduced attendance classes, for which the school year has a duration of 34 weeks of classes and ends on June 7, 2024, and for the class the 8th school year has a duration of 35 weeks of courses and ends on June 14, 2024.
For classes in high school education – the technological branch and for classes in professional education, the school year has a duration of 37 weeks of classes and ends on June 28.
The structure of the 2024-2025 school year:
– courses – Monday, September 9, 2024 – Friday, October 25, 2024, (holiday – Saturday, October 26, 2024 – Sunday, November 3, 2024);
– courses – Monday, November 4, 2024 – Friday, December 20, 2024 (holiday – Saturday, December 21, 2024 – Tuesday, January 7, 2025);
– courses – Wednesday, January 8, 2025 – Friday, February 7/February 14/February 21, 2025 (depending on the decision of the county school inspectorates); one week of vacation of your choice: between February 10, 2025 and March 2, 2025;
– courses – Monday, February 17/February 24/March 3, 2025 – Thursday, April 17, 2025 (depending on the decision of the county school inspectorates), (holiday – Friday, April 18, 2025 – Sunday, April 27, 2025);
– courses – Monday, April 28, 2025 – Friday, June 20, 2025, (summer vacation – Saturday, June 21, 2025 – Sunday, September 7, 2025).
