Anamaria Prodan put luxury food in the packages she gave as alms for Ionela Prodan

Anamaria Prodan distributed packages, according to tradition, substantial packages, on the first day of Easter, for the soul of her mother, the late popular music soloist Ionela Prodan. The impresora crated wine with 24K gold leaf, fluffy scones and delicious pasca, on the ‘barosăneala’, as her late mother liked.

“They made me very good cakes and pastries to share at Easter for my mother. I gave her wine with gold leaf because that’s how she liked it, let everything be on the sly, as she liked’, said Anamaria Prodan, for Click!

In January this year, when Ionela Prodan would have celebrated her name day, Anamaria Prodan also organized a luxury event. The packages offered at the grave of Ionela Prodan at the Bellu Cemetery contained the late artist’s favorite food, which had fine tastes: from pomegranates to caviar.

“My mother was very fond of black caviar. I put in packets exactly what she was eating. I didn’t make it a news story. I didn’t care what people commented on. I shared what she loved with everyone. This and nothing more. For my mother and in her memory nothing is too much or too expensive. I’ve never been interested and I never will be. Neither me, nor mine!“, Anamaria Prodan said then.

Anamaria Prodan, impressed alms for her mother, Ionela Prodan, on the day she would have turned 75

On the day Ionela Prodan would have turned 75, on October 6, 2022, Anamaria Prodan organized an impressive charity.

For the preparations at the cemetery, Anamaria Prodan and her employees arrived in Bellu as early as 7 in the morning. because certain dishes are cooked right on the spot, such as the bean soup.

The feast in the cemetery did not lack exotic sweets either, the ones that Ionela Prodan preferred (Filipino desserts and macarons, among others). Those who paid tribute to Ionela Prodan also enjoyed a glass of sour cherry or homemade brandy.

Anamaria Prodan then asked Gabriela Lucuțar, who owns a funeral home, to take care of organizing the funeral.

“As it was her birthday, and as we knew that Ionela Prodan loved Romanian food and sweets, Romanian or exotic, Anamaria wanted to do something special. I, as I am attentive to the grievances of my clients, especially when it comes to my friends, like Anamaria Prodan, when I talked to her about parastas, she said that she would like it to be like in the old days, when Ionela Prodan was celebrating her birthday with friends and family.

She thought it was impossible, but even if it is very difficult to organize, we will do as her late mother would have wanted. I didn’t tell him we were doing it until I knew for sure it was possible, but we did it. Even Anamaria did not expect what was being prepared, said Gabriela Lucuțar at that time.
