A short time ago, the firefighters from the Tulcea Detachment were requested to intervene in the event of a road accident, between the towns of Cataloi and Nalbant, Tulcea county, as a result of which the car involved caught fire.
2 crews, with 2 fire trucks, moved to the scene of the intervention. Following the road accident, the car containing a 47-year-old female and a 64-year-old male was engulfed in flames.

Fortunately, the victims of the accident managed to self-evacuate until the arrival of the intervention forces. They were taken over by the crews of the County Ambulance Service, present at the scene, who gave them first medical care, later being transported to a hospital unit.
