Tragedy on the second day of Easter: the parents of a priest died in a terrible road accident after the man suddenly felt sick at the wheel. The 76-year-old man lost control of the direction of travel and crashed his car into a pole. Witnesses say he suffered a heart attack.

Serious accident, on the second day of Easter, in Oneşti, Bacău county. Father Nicolae Zaharia’s father was driving a car, when he suddenly felt sick. The man lost control of the car and crashed into a pole. Following the particularly violent impact, his wife, who was in the right seat, was seriously injured.
The medical team that arrived at the scene began the resuscitation maneuvers of the man, who was in cardio-respiratory arrest, but without any result, the father of the priest Nicolae Zaharia being declared dead.

Informed of what had happened, father Nicolae Zaharia arrived at the scene in good spirits, and during the medical procedure he sat with the lit candle in his hand, at the father’s head. During this time, the mother of the dean of Onești was transported to the Onești hospital, where, unfortunately, due to the injuries she suffered, she died in turn, writes the local press. God rest them in peace!
