The boy was with friends at Lake Nemi, Italy, when he decided to climb a mountain trail in the area.
Unfortunately, the branch of a tree he was leaning on broke, and the teenager fell from a height of about 40 meters onto a cliff.
His friends helplessly witnessed the tragedy and immediately alerted the authorities.

According to a report in the local newspaper Castelli Notizie, the young man broke away from the small group of friends and tried to reach the highest point of the route.

He climbed a tree, but the branch gave way and the young man fell first onto a rock and then flew about 40 meters. Firefighters and carabinieri quickly arrived at the scene, but unfortunately they could do nothing to save the boy’s life.

His body was transported to the hospital, and later to the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
The young man, who was a student at a hotel school in the area, apparently tried to reach the highest point of the mountain route.
