Stefan had his whole life ahead of him, but a traffic accident brought him to an end. After an evening spent with friends, the 20-year-old died in a car accident. While traveling on the provincial road in Lisciano, on the border between Marche and Abruzzo, the car he was driving hit the railing of a bridge and fell into the void, into a chasm.

The Italian press writes that Stefan was driving his own car, an Opel Corsa, when the accident happened. The law enforcement officers do not know exactly what happened after the young driver hit the railing of the bridge, then fell about ten meters into the void. The tragedy happened in the night from Saturday to Sunday.

The exit of the car from the road would not have been noticed by anyone, so the authorities were alerted only on Sunday morning, by the young man’s parents, who were worried that their boy had not returned home.

The young man’s uncle was the one who found the car lying empty, around 10:00. Then the rescue operations started, coordinated by the firemen. After breaking the guardrail, the car fell into the void, crashed and rolled until it was roofless.

The medical personnel who arrived at the scene could not do anything for Ștefan. The law enforcement officers now want to establish the causes of the accident. I do not rule out the possibility that the wet asphalt or a panic attack led to the car leaving the road, writes observatornews.ro.
