One of the most beautiful performers of popular music, Claudia Ghițulescu, could have been left with a disfigured face following a terrible accident. She was, with her brother, in a friend’s car and another car ran into them. It happened when he was 17 years old, but he cannot forget the torments he went through. The artist made terrible confessions on the “Povești de film, cu Mara Bănică” podcast.
“My face was destroyed, my left hand, my left leg, my ribs… the whole left side. They took me to the hospital, they operated on me, I was in a coma for two days. I was waking up and drowning in blood, I was hit in the face so bad. I couldn’t breathe anymore, I woke up drowning in blood. I saw lights, then I was no longer aware of myself. I wanted to wake up and I couldn’t, I felt pressure, helplessness, I wanted to open my eyes and I couldn’t,” said Claudia Ghițulescu.
The artist’s mother was shocked when she found out about the accident in which her children were involved, and since then she has only been able to fall asleep with pills.
“When he came to the hospital and saw me, he simply fell off his feet. I didn’t know what I looked like, he got really scared. I was bruised, black, covered in blood all over. I had surgery on my face, on my leg I had a cracked patella and all the ligaments were cut.
I stayed in the hospital for two weeks and then I asked to leave because I couldn’t take it anymore because of the suffering of others. People came without hands, without legs… I was hit, stitched and repaired, I was thanking God that I’m fine,” the artist said.
