Serious accident between a car and a cart, in Vaslui. A young man was transported to the hospital in a deep coma

Two women were in the car, while in the wagon were two 24-year-old twin brothers and their 65-year-old mother.

Following the call to 112, the military firefighters and three ambulances belonging to SAJ Vaslui arrived at the scene, including a crew with a doctor. When the emergency crews arrived, three victims were found, including an unconscious man.

The car was damaged, the cart being broken in two. Rescue crews assessed the victims and administered first aid to the 24-year-old man, who was unconscious and had suffered traumatic brain and craniofacial injuries. The accident also resulted in two other victims, a 65-year-old woman and another 24-year-old man, members of the same family, more precisely the mother and brother of the man in a coma.

Both injured persons were transported to the Emergency Reception Unit of the Vaslui County Emergency Hospital, the victims suffering multiple traumas. The 65-year-old woman was transported to the hospital by a SMURD ambulance, the victim being preliminarily diagnosed with chest trauma, trauma to the left lower limb, multiple excoriations and bruises.

The third victim, 24 years old, was transported to the Vaslui Emergency Reception Unit with a type B ambulance belonging to Vaslui SAJ, the man being diagnosed with pelvis and lower limb trauma.

The two women in the car were evaluated and fortunately did not require medical attention. The cause and circumstances of this road accident are being investigated by the traffic police, who have opened a criminal case.

Sources from UPU Vaslui stated that the most serious is one of the young people in a deep coma, he suffered a craniocerebral trauma and a pelvic trauma. The other two victims have multiple contusions but are conscious.
