Road accident in Satu Mare county. Everything happened today, around 2:50 p.m., on National Road 19A, between Supuru de Sus and Supuru de Jos. According to PresaSM informationa 39-year-old driver from Acâș, driving a Volvo truck, changed the direction of travel to the left and did not give way to a Mitsubishi car, registered in Ukraine, driven by a man aged 33, Ukrainian citizen, from Odessa.

The two vehicles collided and the car rolled on the road surface, injuring two children and two adults, Ukrainian citizens, in the Mitsubishi. The victims were picked up by first aid crews from the SMURD and the Ambulance Service of Satu Mare County and transported to the Emergency Reception Unit of Satu Mare County Hospital for further medical investigations.

Depending on the diagnosis of the doctors, the framing of the act will be done. However, the victims did not suffer serious injuries. The police have opened an investigation to establish exactly the circumstances in which the road event occurred.

The INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police informs that traffic is temporarily stopped on DN 19A, in the area of ​​Supuru de Jos, Satu Mare county, following an accident between a car and a truck, resulting in the injury of one person. Traffic is expected to resume after 3:30 p.m.

What the FIREFIGHTERS say: “The Inspectorate for Emergency Situations SOMEȘ of Satu Mare County was requested to intervene in a road accident occurred at around 2:30 p.m., in the town of Supuru de Sus. A car and a truck were involved in the incident. Five victims were identified at the scene, of which 2 were minors. They were medically assessed on the spot and the passengers of the car, 2 adults and 2 children, were transported to the Satu Mare Emergency Reception Unit by EPA Tășnad and Smurd Tim, the truck driver refusing transport. Two fire crews with an intervention vehicle and a SMURD ambulance were assigned to this incident from the Tășnad Work Point, together with the Mobile Intensive Care and SMURD Sărmașag crew. A SAJ ambulance and the SMURD helicopter were requested to provide medical care in support”.
