The factors that allowed this price reduction
ANRE communicates that these tariffs were established following the analysis of the supporting documents presented by Moldovagaz and found the existence of the objective factors that determined the request to revise the regulated prices of natural gas supplied for the year 2024, namely the reduction of the forecast of the average annual procurement price methane, from $518 to $482.5 per thousand cubic meters.

It should be noted that, in April, Energocom offered gas to Moldovagaz at a lower price, in the amount of 450 euros for a thousand cubic meters compared to the previous price of 550 euros for a thousand cubic meters, and in May the price it drops even more.

At the same time, ANRE claims that the estimated purchase prices of natural gas by Moldovagaz for the period May-December 2024 have been updated, as a result of the results of the auction on the trading platform of BRM East Energy, through which Moldovagaz will purchase natural gas in May at Energocom.
ANRE claims that the new prices will enter into force on May 3, 2024, the date of publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova.
