The candidates of the AUR party, led by George Simion, will not be able to run for the local elections in the town of Buftea, located 20 kilometers from Bucharest.

AUR failed to collect the 500 signatures required for the party’s registration in the elections for the Buftea Local Council.

The announcement was made by the local councilor of Buftea, Bogdan Tobă. He is running for a new mandate from USR.
Returning to AUR Buftea, the branch submitted a file with 600 signatures, 100 more than the limit required by law. But, surprise, the court found that 105 signatures were not in order.
This is very strange, given that 100 signatures out of 600 is a very large percentage, namely 17%. Thus, it is hard to believe that it could be a CNP mistake or carelessness.

After enlisting the PSD-ists Tudor Ciuhodaru and the PSD deputy, Marius Ostaficiuc, Simion asked Marius Bodea from the USR to make an alliance in Iași.

Newsweek wrote that Mihai Enache, the AUR candidate for mayor of Bucharest, has a PSD-ist past.
Mihai Enache will be the AUR candidate for Bucharest mayor’s office. He is the one who invested, in past years, the money of PSD mayor Daniel Băluță in sector 4. Enache was, until March 2023, the Executive Director of the “Development Directorate”. Last year he had hundreds of millions on hand.
In fact, in the organization chart of the sector 4 town hall, the Department led by Enache is immediately under the mayor Băluță, who is his direct superior.
