Sharon Stone is in the middle of a lawsuit after being sued over an alleged car accident she allegedly caused last year in Los Angeles. If found guilty, the actress would have to pay a woman $35,000 in damages.
According to documents obtained by People magazine, Stone is accused of driving “unsafely” on the US Route 101 exit ramp at Coldwater Canyon Avenue on June 30 of last year, causing property damage and personal injury.

The complaint was filed by Amanda Godepski in Los Angeles Superior Court, who seeks $35,000 in damages. The document states that the actress “negligently owned, operated, drove, managed and maintained a vehicle, causing the collision by driving too fast for traffic conditions and making an unsafe lane change movement for the plaintiff”. The actress has yet to respond to the allegations, and her representatives have not commented on the situation.
Also, according to the report, Stone is being sued for “loss of wages, property damages, general damages and loss of income,” as well as “emotional distress” and “economic damages” as a result of the incident.

The lawsuit comes as Stone has recently been embroiled in another controversy, related to her claims of pressure being placed on her while filming the 1993 thriller Sliver. She claims she was urged to have an intimate relationship with her co-star Billy Baldwin by film producer Robert Evans.
