A 65-year-old man from Bucharest lost his life after allegedly passing out while driving, causing a traffic accident that left three injured. It happened on May 1, around 1:20 p.m., on Ștefan cel Mare street in Roman.
“Following the investigations carried out by the police, it emerged that, while a 65-year-old man from Bucharest was driving a car, on the indicated road sector, he allegedly collided with a car traveling in the same direction opposite, later ricocheting into another parked car. As a result of the impact, the 65-year-old driver and three other people were injured”, announces IPJ Neamț.
From the first data, it seems that the 65-year-old driver had heart problems. He was transported to the hospital in serious condition and even if resuscitation maneuvers were applied, he could not be saved, the doctors having to declare him dead. Three other people were injured and ended up in a hospital bed. It is about a 52-year-old female driver and two passengers, respectively 32 and 62 years old, from the first two cars.
