Terzic warns of return: “Next week will be harder than today”
Dortmund won 1-0 in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final, but next week’s second leg will be much tougher, coach Edin Terzic said.
The club from the Ruhr valley scored in the 36th minute through Niclas Fuellkrug and has the advantage for Tuesday’s return in Paris.
“I played very well, a narrow but deserved victory”, said Terzic. “Teamwork brought us this result. We wanted this small advantage. We know that next week will most likely be harder than today.”
“This is just a break and next week will be a different story. It will not be easy to face their game in front of a home crowd. We felt it today from the 45th minute to the 60th minute.” Terzic also said.
PSG improved after the break and hit the bar twice, missing several other chances as well. “We felt their quality. We showed our best game against PSG, but next week they will have the euphoric support of their fans and will want to turn the result around.” Terzic also said.
