A significant part of the payments were made to reimburse the expenses of the beneficiaries of the investment projects. It is about 112.7 million euros.

The non-reimbursable public funds are granted after the AFIR experts verify and authorize the payment of the expenses incurred according to the payment requests received from the public and private beneficiaries of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
