“The police officers of the Road Service – National and European Roads Office went to the scene and found that a 29-year-old man from the municipality of Beiuș, while driving a car, on DN1, in the town of Gheghie, towards the town of Topa de Criș, Bihor county, allegedly entered the opposite direction of traffic, over the continuous longitudinal marking and collided with two vehicles, which were regularly traveling in the opposite direction of traffic, driven by a 67-year-old man and another 46 years old, both from the municipality of Cluj Napoca, Cluj county”, said the press officer of the Bihor Police, Alin Laza.
The road accident was one without victims.
Against the 29-year-old man, the measure of contraventional sanctions was taken, according to the provisions of article 41, paragraph. 1 of GEO 195 / 2002 republished and according to the provisions of article 77, paragraph 2 of the Regulation of application of GEO 195 / 2002 republished.
At the same time, as a complementary measure, the right to drive vehicles on public roads was suspended for 90 days.
