One man unconscious, three other people injured

On Tuesday morning, the town of Căianu in Cluj County witnessed a serious road accident that involved two cars and left a man in his 60s unconscious. Firefighters from the Mociu Work Point and Detachment 1 Cluj-Napoca quickly intervened on the scene.

According to the information provided by ISU Cluj, two special vehicles with extrication mode, a SMURD crew and two SAJ crews intervened at the scene of the accident to provide medical assistance to those involved. A man in his 60s was pulled unconscious from one of the cars, while three other occupants managed to get out of the cars on their own.

Emergency crews provided qualified first aid and emergency medical assistance at the scene of the accident, after which the four injured were transported to the hospital for further investigation and treatment. According to the statements of ISU Cluj, the condition of the unconscious man is serious, he has multiple traumas, but his vital signs are present.

The exact circumstances of the accident have not yet been established, and the competent authorities will conduct an investigation to clarify the cause and circumstances of its occurrence.

Events of this kind underline the importance of following traffic rules and the need for responsible driving in traffic, in order to prevent such tragedies.
