Accident in the gas station, a drunk driver drove into a fuel pump. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, in Dărmănești.
On Sunday, at 2:07 p.m., the police from Dărmănești were alerted by phone by a woman, a saleswoman at a peco station in the locality, about the fact that a VW brand car. The Passat collided with a fuel pump inside the station and damaged it.
The police went to the scene and found that the complaints to 112 were confirmed.
A man from Todorești traveled by car to the gas station in question, where he consumed alcoholic beverages, namely vodka and beer.
After about 2 hours, the man got behind the wheel of the car with which he came to the Peco Station, with the intention of leaving.
However, due to alcohol consumption and inattention, he collided with the right front fuel pump called “pump QUICK” from the station premises, damaging it..
Being asked about the circumstances of the road accident, the driver stated that he had consumed alcoholic beverages, namely 2 containers of 200 ml of vodka and a bottle of 0.33 ml of beer.
It was tested with the alcohol test device, the result being 0.87 mg./l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air.
The man was taken to the Suceava Emergency Clinical Hospital, where his biological samples were collected.
In the case, the police have drawn up a criminal file under the aspect of committing the crime of “driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other substances”.
