“The 3 that make up my budget at the Ministry of Energy: investments, investments, investments. We often look at the energy model and prices in Spain or Portugal, and today Romania has cheaper electricity than in the two countries, thanks to the contribution of green energy to the national energy mix. We put 18 billion euros to work for investments in energy, through which we place Romania on the road to energy independence, with clean energy and at fair prices for households and the economy. By accelerating investments and having a well-defined strategy and actions, we managed to obtain Eurostat’s confirmation that Romania is in the top of the countries with the lowest prices paid by the population for electricity and natural gas,” said Minister Sebastian Burduja.
