Flower Day started with a rapid chess tournament in the city of Năvodari. “Chess in the Park, the 2nd edition, was intended to be an action to promote chess among the citizens of the city of Năvodari. The beautiful event was organized by Năvodari City Hall, with the support of Mayor Florin Chelaru.

In the Central Park of Năvodari, the second edition of the “Chess in the Park” event, organized by Năvodari City Hall, took place. The event aimed to promote the sport of the mind among the citizens, and all those present were to be commended for their participation. The competition enjoyed a real success, both among the participants and among the spectators, who admired the contested matches. Juniors and seniors played together, proving that age is no obstacle to the passion for chess,” said Daniel Panainte, coach of the Năvodari Chess Section.

The gold medal went to the invincible chess player Diana Dospin. We make it clear that the young woman from Návodăr also participated in the National Chess Championship in Eforie, where she qualified in the National Group.
