Titi Aur highlighted the state’s lack of reaction to the large number of accidents, resulting in hundreds of deaths and thousands of injuries every year. He repeatedly told DC Conducem that the curriculum of driving schools is insufficient. However, in the last edition, he said that in Romania the reply most often heard is “what, our driving school is not good?”

“I mean, what do you want to say, Titi Aur, about us, the driving schools? Do you know better than us how to do our job? I don’t know better than you to take one from a non-driver to do it mini-driver. But I know how to make him a better driver. If I say let’s introduce some things. Because what, I want polygons? Why take classes at night? Well, with this mentality, we’re dying on the street. That’s my point of view, they don’t realize the danger,” said TIti Aur.

After viewing a photo of an accident between Brăila and Buzău, between two vans, due to a risky overtaking, Titi Aur drew a simple conclusion about the guilty driver, who unfortunately also lost his life.

“I can tell you for sure that he wasn’t even wearing a seat belt. One hundred percent. Whoever wears a seat belt doesn’t act like that. If I told him before the defensive, preventive driving course, he would say that he’s been driving for a long time. That’s the attitude. And you can only fight it through education, examples, films, videos, during the courses, and then you come with coercion. If you stop someone who has also studied at the driving school, who has taken defensive courses, then you can take them the card for a year. It remains without bread, but it is better than without life.

But like this, no coercion, no education, and we are witnessing tragedies,” Titi Aur also declared.
