Two cars were involved in a road accident on Friday afternoon on Drumul Hoților. Two people arrived at the hospital.
The accident occurred at the intersection between DJ 143B (Rusciori – Sibiu) and DN 7H.
“From the first investigations carried out, it emerged that, while driving a car in taxi mode on DJ 143B, from Rusciori, a 57-year-old Sibiu entered the intersection with DN 7H without giving priority and collided with a car driven from the A1 towards the airport by a 35-year-old man from Avrig. The 57-year-old driver and the passenger in the car he was driving, a 52-year-old woman from Rusciori, suffered bodily injuries,” said Elena Welter, spokesperson for IPJ SIbiu.
“A SMURD crew with a doctor, an extrication vehicle, a fire extinguisher, a SMURD motorcycle and a SAJ crew, intervened urgently at a road accident occurred at the intersection between DJ 143B (Rusciori – Sibiu) and DN 7H, in which they two vehicles were involved. Following the accident, two people needed medical attention. A 57-year-old man who suffered a lumbar trauma was taken by the SMURD crew, and the 52-year-old woman was taken by the SAJ crew. Both victims are transported to UPU Sibiu conscious”, states Slt. Andreea Ștefan, ISU Sibiu spokesperson.
